Jacqueline “Jackie” Stone (born January 5, 1968 in Merrick, New York) is the Senior Vice President of Marketing at WebMD. She is also co-author of the book The Club No One Wanted to Join - Madoff Victims In Their Own Words. Prior to her work at Web MD, Ms. Stone worked as the Vice President of Promotions at Digitas, and as the National Director of Sales Promotions & Event Marketing for America Online where she was the recipient of several PMA Reggie and OMMA awards for her work in integrated and promotion marketing.[1] In addition to her work at Digitas, Stone is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Marketing at New York University and is an active philanthropist in the New York Jewish community.

Madoff Victims

Ms. Stone's parents were victims of the embezzlement scandal involving Bernie Madoff. This led to her writing contribution to the book The Club No One Wanted to Join - Madoff Victims In Their Own Words.[2]

Education

Ms. Stone earned her undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Miami in 1990. The following year, she was completed her MBA in Marketing from Barry University.[3]

Personal life

Long Island

Ms. Stone was born and raised in the Long Island town of Merrick, New York. In 2006, Stone appeared off-Broadway in The Vagina Monologues.[13]

Philanthropy

Ms. Stone is an active member of the Jewish community, serving in various capacities for the UJA Federation of New York and the United Jewish Communities:

In May 2007, Stone participated in a UJC study mission to Ethiopia to help relocate 71 Ethiopian Jews to Israel.[14]

Ms. Stone has been involved in the AVON Walk for Breast Cancer, having walked over 39 miles to date, raising in excess of $10,000[15]
